MOSAIC CHAIR

Hello!  I have a beautiful old chair which is very solid and in fact, I think it is oak.  I keep it in the laundry room so I have something to stand on to change light bulbs and reach high shelves.  It is a wonderful candidate for mosaics.   I have alot of chippy china in various colors and chose this fabulous green and white transferware for the back of the chair.  I may have gotten a little carried away with the freehand painting on the sides, but hey, this is art.

As I have said in a previous post, doing mosaics is much like doing a jigsaw puzzle.  It is so relaxing and the finished product is lovely I think.  It is a unique way of putting your own creative stamp on something.

This chair was done quite a few years back, but I think it is still pretty and will be around for a few more years to come.

Stay tuned for tomorrow's THRIFT STORE SCORE!  When who knows what I will drag home to the bungalow!  hee hee

Happy Day Friends!
